Consuming
alcohol while taking Macfuran Capsule may cause symptoms such as
flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood
pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

Macfuran
Capsule is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal
studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby;
however, there are limited human studies.
Macfuran
Capsule should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding
should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the
drug is eliminated from her body.
Macfuran
Capsule may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel
sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Macfuran
Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease.
Dose adjustment of Macfuran Capsule may be needed. Please consult your
doctor.
Use of Macfuran Capsule is not recommended in patients with
severe kidney disease, who are unable to pass urine or have high
creatinine levels.
