PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Revelol-CH 50mg/12.5mg Tablet ER is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It helps in controlling blood pressure when any one medicine is not effective. This also helps in reducing the chances of any heart attack and stroke occurring later. Early treatment with this medicine increases the chances of survival of heart attack patients.
Revelol-CH 50mg/12.5mg Tablet ER is taken with or without food preferably in the morning to avoid frequent urination at night. Keep taking it as long as your doctor recommends. Even if you feel well, do not stop this medicine on your own because high blood pressure often has no symptoms. If you stop taking it, your condition may worsen. Keeping active with regular exercise, losing weight and eating a healthy diet will also help control your blood pressure. Follow your doctor's advice while taking this medicine.
Nausea, constipation, diarrhea, and fatigue are some common side effects of this medicine. Consult a doctor if any of these bother you or get worse or do not go away. Drink plenty of fluids while taking the medicine to relieve muscle weakness, dry mouth and excessive thirst. Dizziness or headache may occur due to low blood pressure but it gets better with time.

HOW REVELOL-CH TABLET ER WORKS
Revelol-CH 50mg/12.5mg Tablet ER is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Metoprolol Succinate and Chlorthalidone. Metoprolol Succinate is a beta blocker that specifically affects the heart and reduces the heart rate, allowing the heart to pump blood more efficiently throughout the body. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which lowers blood pressure by removing excess water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time it relaxes the blood vessels and increases blood flow.
